SV650s Curvey for sale - Scotland

I am selling my 2000 on a W plate SV due to the purchase of a new (to me) bike and not having room to keep them both.

Described as mint condition for its age by the dealer I asked for a trade in price. But he did say I would be better to sell privately

I have owned this bike for approx 7 years.

Mileage - 18043
MOT - full year just had it MOT'd today 2nd may 2014
Taxed to end of August

Brand new battery fitted 2nd may 2014
Tyres Michelin PR2's with approx 1000 miles use, probably less
HEL braided brake lines
Smoked double bubble screen
Full lower fairings
Colour matched rear hugger
ART end can which sounds fantastic
Wired up for Oxford wrap around heated grips (grips unused since I've owned the bike)
Wired up for trickle charger (direct plug in£
Data tool alarm
Givi rack and monokey plate
Suzuki fender extender
Lots of paperwork old mot's, handbook, data tool alarm paperwork etc

Bad points
Rear hugger has a small scratch on it
Front fork casings are a bit pitted and could do with a good scrub
Lower fairing missing a clip on the bottom that attach them together


This bike has been garaged since I've owned it and never ridden in the winter. Hardly ridden at all over the past few years.

It has been meticulously maintained ( not by me but by the almighty Bibio) anyone who knows Bibio knows how good he is mechanically and I'm sure he could tell you his opinion of this bike.

I very much doubt you will find a SV of this age and mileage in as good a condition as this bike.

Test rides welcome with proof of insurance and full price of bike in my hand. Bike located near Dundee/ St. Andrews on the east coast of Scotland.

you will not find a better condition curvy. its absolutely mint. starts and runs first time with no hesitation. choke is working as should and carbs have been balanced as well as all the callipers have been stripped and serviced.

i still think Appollo is nutz for selling it.

Can't find the old hugger and chain guard so this will be staying on the bike for the sale.
Rack and monokey plate will sell separately. Transferring top box to new bike.
