I was sat here pondering and idly flicking through the pages of the Holy Org when I discovered a function that shows every thread I have ever posted. Now I will be the first to admit that some of them were a bit strange, however I found the very first thread I posted which was my hello I am a newbie (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=103992).
I read through it and had to chuckle as I expressed my desire to pass my test, ride my "big bike" and take the boyfriend for a blast... :smt023
How things change indeed, the innocence is gone as is the boyfriend and sadly so are some of the people who posted in that original hello thread. It feels like such a long time ago now and I take it for granted that I can at any time jump on my bike and go for a blast, yet often choose not to because I am too lethargic and just cannot be @rsed.
I still love riding my bike though, I still really love my precious Sylvie, despite having tried many other "better" machines and I still love to check in with you lot fairly often.
As an idea though, go and find your first ever hello thread because it is interesting to see how we have progressed. I declared right at the very start of my membership here that I was a keen amateur mechanic and I still am, only these days I am more likely to be seen stealing the Wife's Snap-on tools that bothering with the poundshop specials that are located in my old toolbox that is rusting away somewhere at the back of our garage. :viking:
