How do you tell your doctor if you're in a coma?

Some of my meds have things like that on them. How are you supposed to tell the Doctor anything if you are in a confused state, comatose and close to death? Silly damn drugs companies. Mind you this is why we squirt the muck into bunny rabbits eyes, so we can know these things.

As an aside here, how many people have to die before it is recognised as a side effect? ;-)

I worked in the clinical trials dept of a pharmaceutical company.
There is a book which GP have which lists all the drugs on the market and their fatality rates. Things like headache tabs are on there because of overdoses - suicides. Indeed, it's one of the most deadly.

Just got issued with a new tablet yesterday. Reading the list of side effects and the checks from my doctor before she prescribed it I wonder if it is worth the hassle. Accept I am not well and get measured for a box.
