I'm trying to fit the 35kw restriction myself however I'm having troubles getting the air box off.

Best picture I could find of it, however I managed to unscrew the seal on the right valve as nothing was blocking it.

I cannot lift the air box up until the valve on the left is undone also, however I'm finding it impossible to even find the screw that's holding the seal on. It's directly above the engine and even with the side fairings off, I cant see it at all.

Any tips, or am I doing something stupidly wrong?

you need to take all the gubbings off first, this includes vacuum hoses, PAIR hoses, electrical connectors.

if you look between the frame spars at the bottom of the airbox you will see a band (jubilee clip) on each of the throttle body mouths, you need to loosen these (dont completely undo these or your in for some fun) to lift the airbox off.

there are shed loads of connectors and hoses going to the airbox. if your bike is K7 or above you need to make sure that you have connected everything up again of or your bike will throw FI faults.

have fun :-)

Bike is a K6, I see a butt load of connectors going into the airbox but was hoping I could just get around that and lay it off to one side once the other jubilee clip was off :(

Got it off (with much struggle) This is what it looks like now:

I'm now lost, the instructions I was following from an ebay purchase just says it's right under. Think I may be blind :D
