All I could find after a search was a lot of talks of 650 discs.. I presume they are different sizes? Anyway where should I get my discs from for my sv1000? At a half decent price? I don't want the very best but don't want crap either... Opinions please :)

Thanks in advance guys

the wheel specs I sent from the gixer will give you more options for discs (k3/4/5 I think but check the pm)
they are generally cheaper and more prevalent even tho there the same discs

These are not Chinese, made it the UK. Bibio's got them fitted to his SV650.

Although GaryNortheast fitted some chinese discs to his & he was quite happy with the quality & fit

I have indeed fitted some Chinese discs. Been on the bike for about 3000 miles now and still looking good. No loosening of the bobbins, no warping or blueing. I run organic pads with them and they stop me very well.

That's good to hear.

I'm so pleased with them that I'm thinking of replacing the rear disc with one from the same people. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rear-Brake-Disc-Rotor-For-Suzuki-SV650-99-02-HAYABUSA-99-07-Hayabusa-GSXR-1300-/171302360506?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item27e26a95ba
