For your amusement, pleasure or distaste.

A few pics from my trip last weekend.
or what the best motorcycle roads in the US look like.
(warning some locations may have been seen in previous pics and taken on my phone)

Sorry no views from the mountain tops as it was either hazy or cloudy the entire time.

One of the many places in the world named 'Lovers Leap' this one near Stuart, Virginia.
Interesting nearly all of them have the same tale.

The Rock in NC.
Despite it's daunting appearance there is more clearance than you think.
But I still duck.

My favorite waterfall.
Probably due to it's location right beside the road!

What happened to all the people? Did the gun nuts get their dreams to come true? Was there a zombie apocalypse?

Sent via the medium of interpretative dance.

Great photos. The roads remind me of the north side of the Kinlochleven Loop...

It's America. They are all at McDonalds ordering 'just one more' tripple cheeseburger. ;)

This was a busy tourist area from the early 1940's through the late 1980's but now days things are different.
Americans don't prize originality. They want to be like everyone else, look like everyone else and go where everyone else goes.
There are some bikers (and vacationers) who come here, but most only go to 'the most popular' places just because that's where everyone else goes.
Which is a good thing because most of them are idiots anyway.

That and this is a fairly remote part of the country. No one is just passing through. No major roadways nearby. It's an out of the way place that you have to deliberately come to.
