I've had PR3's the last few times and PR2's before them. They are great tyres until they start to wear then the front tries it's hardest to punt you into a hedge. Now that's fine so long as you keep an eye on the front tyre but I was wondering if it's time to try something new.

Looking for all-round, all weather, long-lasting tyre so nothing other than what everyone else, apart from the hero wanna-be racers, are looking for.

So any recommendations?

Local guy recommending Bridgestone T30s which replace the 023's and has them on offer so about £40 cheaper than the PR3s for a pair.

Red 675 on our trumpet forum has been using the T30 and rates them over the P3.
I have metzeler M5. They are good for a sports bike supersede but the M7 rr

Was a die hard storm 2 ultra fan but recently swapped to pilot power 2ct's as needed new tyres and couldn't wait. So far I'm liking those a lot, haven't hit any wet stuff yet though

Last sports touring tyre I had was the Dunlop roadsmart 2. I was really pleased with the performance (way better than the pr2 IMO). Can't comment on longevity though as I sold the bike before they were anywhere near dead.

I have the t30's and they are very good imo. If you remember mark, they are the tyres I was scrubbing in before the ar last year when we went out. Was riding normally within the first few miles and completely forgot they were new tyres. Just got another rear.

Might have to try the T30s after all this talk...

So my front PR3's still got a bit left in it.

Anyone tried PR3 front with T30 rear or do I just do the pair and be done with it?

Anyone want a part used PR3 front?

get a pair, you shouldnt mix and match, I'd personally go for the T30's out of the 2.
