Bike cuts out after cold start changing to second

Hi I have had as problem twice in the last few days on my Sv . She starts fine then when i pull out of my estate and go to change to second the engine dies and stops . I then restart her and then carry on .what can this be ? it is early in the morning before 7.30 any ideas?

what model? how long you letting it warm up for?

Its a Sv650s k5, I dont warm it up. i start her and then move off, It hasnt happened since sunday.

What does the idle speed sit at and has the clutch switch been bypassed?
