Just spotted these ,must be the same as debrix ones , yee ha!!

On the NC owners website someone has fitted Debrix emulators to his NC700 with good effect, and a link to hogparts.co.uk (http://www.hogparts.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=294_311&products_id=41258) was added if you want to get them direct from a UK source. Price is not unreasonable for the convenience.

Excuse my ignorance but do these just screw in,nothing else needed!!!
the emulator is for compression only and controls the dive on the standard forks better but also allowing for bumps due to a popper valve.
on a pointy you have to strip the forks down then have a bush made to fit the top of your damper rods, the damper rod rebound hole has to be welded up and the compression holes at the bottom have to be drilled out to open them up a bit. you also need to cut down the top spacer for the preload 15mm.
after all that you have to set them up by messing with oil wt for the rebound and set popper tension on the actual emulators to allow for bumps but still stay closed under braking.
it all sounds complicated but in reality its easy.
Thanks for the Hogparts link. My emulators were delivered yesterday.

I've been looking at these, how do they compare to race techs? And will they just drop in on a 2002 curvy? Im such a noob at this!

And will they just drop in on a 2002 curvy?
Curvy doesn’t need a bush but the rest is as Bilbo's description above.
Nice pictorial guide here, complete with a record of my mechanical stupidity |-O

I've spent ages researching this, the link posted above is excellent!!
From what I've found it's worthwhile stripping the new emulator to remove some machining burrs.
Other than that, I just need to find accesses to a welding machine to seal the damper rod rebound hole. Then I can fit my new 0.95 K tech linear springs and cartridge emulators.

I stripped a few down and never found any burrs worth removing.

Still helps to weld up rebound hole though
Yeh I intend to get this hole welded up. It'll just mean that the job will take a little longer.
I've seen plenty of discussion on this (leaving the rebound hole or sealing it) and have decided that while the forks are stripped it may as well be sealed. I don't fancy some of the epoxy or JB weld methods.
