Not bike related, but a perfect demonstration of how to land a Harrier, with failed landing gear, on an aircraft carrier.

A few years ago near here there was a chopper spraying bracken.
He lost his landing skid on one side so the ground crew built a few straw bales up to the right height and he landed perfectly on those.
Good skills there! Makes you wonder why we ditched the Harrier and the Americans are still happily using them.

Ditched Because uk government are nobs
Excellent landing
I like the way he said "we can't train for this".
Clearly you can they have a purpose built stool for such events. Perfect to train with !!!

I suspect in all other carrier jets the correct procedure is to fly abeam the ship at a few hundred feed, with the rescue chopper in the air and pull the handle between your legs. Good that he brought it home safely!
