The depressing thing is, I'm not even shocked to read this kind of thing anymore.
You do wonder where we're heading as a species......:(

Nowhere we haven't always been.
The only difference today is improved news coverage.

The original story was a week earlier and the police were not investigating the theft, only the accident. The press were contacted and suddenly the police jumped into action. The area is covered by CCTV so you would think they would have some footage, perhaps they do! However, the CCTV is usually watching a nearby bus lane as an income stream. Let's hope they find the scum

Yeah, I remember reading the original story not so long back and was shocked that the police were allegedly not interested about the guy back then...hope the guy gets caught and dealt with appropriately!

RTA investigation is a routine easy nick. The other thing involves investigating and catching real criminals.Guess which of those is the preferred option.Me cynical?Yup.

I'm really tempted to stick his sorry face up on posters in the area (which is more than the police have done). Someone in Hayes knows exactly who this ****bag is and although he is far from unique these days, it doesn't mean that he deserves to be caught any less.
