Speedo cable clip - front mudguard.

Does anybody know if the mount for the speedo drive cable on top of mudguard of curvy just pops out, as seems a bit reluctant don't want to force if it has simple way of removing.

It's much easier if you push it out from underneath, rather than pulling out from the top.

From memory there's a central pin with a ridge, that when pushed in splays the 2 outer parts of the fitting.

Thats what i thought, joy taking front wheel out and back in without damaging the drive!

Obviously you need to elevate the wheel but the put a jemmy like a plank of wood etc under the wheel. Then you can lift and align all the parts before inserting the axle. It's shoving it though when nothings lined up that damages the speedo drive.

Ye I have ordered little stand to align wheel from M&P
