Back in May i went to the NW200 and to see my friends and family in Northern Ireland. It ended up being 3500 miles.
The black line on the map shows the route i took. Start and finish point is the closest part of the black line to London.

yup Applecross to Durness has to be one of the best scenery roads in the UK especially if you take in all the wee coastal roads.

looks like you had an awesome time.

Yes took all the little coastal roads on that stretch, brilliant biking! You don't want to run off the road up there, you wouldn't be found for years!
Really enjoyed the run from Lochgilphead to Oban and Oban to Fortwilliam too. Infact I enjoyed all of the routes in Scotland except for a stretch on the A9 from Thurso to the top of the Cairngorms, but I needed to make up a bit of time.

Been almost everywhere in the UK and Ireland on the bike now and the west coast of Scotland and Ireland are the places that stand out from all the rest.
