View Full Version : Introductions
Hello, I'm Pariah and I've just bought a K8 naked.
Here's a pic of the old girl artfully posed against the bins. I think I bagged a good 'un here.

How doo
written with a biro
just an observation but i think someone has butchered your seat or you have the wrong seat.
Hi & thanks. I think the previous owner padded the seat out.
Have to say I'm surprised how neat this bike is. Great engine and turns in well.
I've had a few in my time and the last four have been, in order:
Duc Multi 1000 (in Saudi)
Aprilia Falco (UK)
ER650N (Hong Kong)
Suzuki 250 TU - Grasstracker (again in HK)
I also have a MG Le Mans 850 hidden away :D

Please no more Guzzie pictures, my Dad is a big fan of old Guzzies and I get bored he has a few, but he NEVER rides them, what a waste. Welcome.
How about a Ducati then?
:D
Went to look at this a couple of days before I saw sense and bought the SV. A farmer over in Halifax had spent a couple of years doing a nut and bolt restoration. It looked immaculate but I didn't have the time to fully check it out and I need a bike to get me to the west coast of Scotland without risk of drama.
I'm still lusting after it, though..

Hes an imposter, there is no way that 'Pegasus' has that in his shed , my Italian would get jealous(we are in Fax) :D
I like you, probably the first new member to present their SV with a shinier downpipe than mine.... :smt107

It says Pegasus on the reg plate ;)
the older 750/900ss are more reliable than you might think. i like them more than the newer ones. dont try a u turn on them though.
+1.
I'd like to have a 900SS (in yellow) for Sunday runs. I used to have a 2V 1000 DS Multi so know my way around the aircooled Ducati engines.

Welcome to the loony bin, where you can get advice on everything from noisy furniture to cat maintenance and conspiracy eating to polishing Cat6 cables. Oh, and the odd bit of info about bikes too ;)

And far too few innuendos. We need to work on that.
