Depends on what it is i'm eating
Anything with mashed potato gets the mixeruper treatment. :D
if its got sauce/ gravy then yes..dry no
Vegetables end up on a fork and munch in one.
ice cream is a mixerupper
Not a mixerupper, but I don't mind encroachment.
Most dishes can be improved with baked beans over the top. Or a fried egg. Or beans AND a fried egg. And cheese.
Tam remind me never ever to share a tent/room with you :smt107

Mix, always, especially if there is mashed potatoes, you can make a really good mush of your food with mash. Mmmm just the though of mash mixed makes me think of fish pie with either peas or sweetcorn, maybe I can talk DJ into making some for me.

What about something like scampi or sausages. I always leave the last bit of scampi to finish the meal, everything else is eatern first, but I leave the last scampi or a piece of sausage to wipe the plate clean

My eldest boy is a separator but I am mostly a mixerupererer.
That said the food doesn't often stay on the plate long enough for anyone to bgbbbbbbbgrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr222222222222222222222222 22222222222qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq

Don't worry I've not collapsed on the keyboard, the youngest decided to edit my post as I popped into the kitchen.
Depends -
Breakfast - Seperator, but a wee bit of everything on the fork. Eating a full scottish is a military operation to ensure a wee bit of everything and then a final fork of all the best bits.
Curry or chilli - mix it up !!!
Can't stand people who eat the bit seperately. eat bacon stop. eat beans stop. eat sausage stop. eat egg stop. Does ma heed in.:smt011

Mixerupper, the point of having a meal with different tasting food is enjoying how they tastes compliment each other, on a fork in your mouth. I know what chicken tastes like on its own but I know if I mix it with mash, a brussel, slathered in gravy how even more amazing it'll taste :-P
I normally eat off my lap in front of the sofa so tend to select my food not by taste or nutritional value but by its ease of shovelling one handed.

Worse must be daughter no one. She eats one food at a time. And moans if I dish up on top of one another.
Nice little piles of each.

Our eldest (a boy) is exactly the same, hates different foods to touch each other, except for sauce and rice they are allowed to touch other things. Youngest takes so little notice of his food I doubt he could tell you what he had eaten straight after the meal.
