Is that a 250L? I had one about tens years ago. Regret selling it big time!

It's a 250, dunno about L

And yes it certainly is fun!

K and L's had a pipe either side, and the later ones had a banana swing arm and both pipes on one side.

This was mine

That's a shame you've sold the SV, that was one of the nicest Pointys around.

But the RGV is a fine machine, I may have been looking at one recently...

Thanks Squirrel, but don't worry the sv is in good hands ;)

TamSV

Speaking of which, does anyone want to see my new naked pointy? :)

Have you two swapped bikes?

TamSV

Keys were exchanged today in a neutral location

squirrel_hunter

So why the swap then?

TamSV

I wanted a naked middleweight bike and Darren wanted to sell one. He wanted a 2 stroke and I was persuaded to part with mine (he knew I'd been thinking about selling it anyway).

An alignment of the stars. :)

Very nice Darren, hope you enjoy it :)

What magic you got in mind for the sv Tam?

TamSV
10-08-14, 09:52 AM
Mostly just putting petrol in the petrol hole and riding it. :)

So was it an sv and cash or straight swap?

You got those new fairings on yet Darren?

DarrenSV650S
22-01-15, 04:17 PM
No. I removed the old ones last week, shoe-horned the bike in to my flat and was all set to get started in the warmth. But then my heating broke so I had to take it back outside in case my landlord found out about it being in the flat while the heating is being fixed. I'll post up when I have the new ones on :)

You know Darren I think I hate you ;)

I'd completely forgotten about this deal between you and Tam, so jealous you have that bike.
