Where there's muck / brass etc.. Thousands of these holders will be binned. Must be some amount of dosh in the scrap metal value.

I've never owned a tax disc holder. Just laminate it and stick under the seat
Had a carbon fiber one till someone nicked it a month or so back.

Years ago a mate of mine had his tax disc nicked or it fell off. He got a warning from a copper for failing to display so sent off the fee for a replacement which was around £17. He kept the new one in his wallet to keep it safe and was fined about £70 by another copper for failing to display.

Wouldn't remove it end of this month.
1st October is date from which no more discs will be used.
Keep the holder for a couple of months & then 'bay it - they'll be 'collectors items' by Christmas.

I've not displayed a tax disc on my bike for over 2 years and never had a problem. I've always bought the sodding tax though.
