If anyone is planning a trip to the Yorkshire Dales, Moors and the surrounding area then I can recommend this place where we stayed last week.
Judy the owner is very friendly, the 2 cottages are well equipped and comfortable. A bit remote if you want nightlife although there's a nice pub in the village, but if you prefer just to chill at the end of a day's riding it's perfect and under 20 minutes into York.
There's bike parking at the back. The sleeping arrangements are a king size bed that can be made up as a twin plus an adequate double sofa bed in the living room so good for mates sharing. Gallons of hot water, dishwasher to save on arguments over who washes up. Tea, coffee, milk, jam etc. are supplied plus a home made cake.
The cottages have Wi-Fi but we struggled to get phone signal. I quite liked that as work couldn't ring me!
