Hello everybody,
I just picked up a curvey SV (Blue, '02) after quite a few years off the road (well off two wheels anyway).
Took posession this evening, rode back to Braintree from Bounds Green; M11 aint the most awesome journey tbh, but it felt good to be back in the saddle.
Felt damn good actually :D
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello to all, and to promise I'll try not to make a nuisance out of myself asking too many questions!!
Cheers

Hello
Welcome.
I felt the exact same way. I bought mine, after a long long time off bikes, on a cold day in January, and rode home about 20 minutes down the A5. Not thrilling by any stretch of the imagination, but it was one of my fondest rides!
Enjoy, and ride safe

Hello from Chelmsford. There's some great roads around our way though. Just ask all those who have done TOGMIE.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. It feels great to be back on the road... Having had a break off the bike for around 10 years, I will be taking things very easy... might even do an advanced course of something. I guess I am now old enough to know that I don't know everyting. :)
@Richie, nice NC30 there mate, I had one similar awhilesback... that bike is like a videogame on wheels: uberfun
@Geodude, yes, Marblecake... Mmmmmmarblecake
@Littlepeahead, I will check out TOGMIE #interested
Cheers :D

If you fancy a bit of advanced training I can recommend doing a 1-2-1 with a guy called Mick Jones. I met him on a Bikesafe course. He trains the police riders. He also does back to biking days. Depends on your budget. 07813 167749.

He's Chelmsford based, I met him at Boreham interchange and did a day with him and my husband a couple of years ago. Really enjoyable.
