Hi All - either I've been sent the wrong part, or I'm doing it wrong.
Old ones off, new ones don't go in. As they fit inside the bar, with like a nylon expansion rubber.
All I can see is the hole in the end of the bar where the original bolt came out.
Do I have the wrong part, or is there more to come out? Sorry for what's probably a stoopid question.
would help if you gave us the year of SV as some of them have threaded bar ends.

If I remember correctly, my curvy bars were blanked off & had a threaded hole, so a expansion type bar end won't work ever.

Thanks Mavi. I thought as much. I'm not being thick. It's just annoying that ebay shops advertise to suit a specific bike, when it clearly isn't.
My first SV was 13 years ago and I couldn't remember at all whether I had the same problem.
yes your bike has screw in bar ends, all is not lost as i'm pretty sure that you can just take the bung off the new ones and insert the bolt/bung into the bar end that way. tiz worth a try

At the mo Bibio, I've just lobbed them on - and the look pretty pony. You might be able to make it out from the picture....
Tell you what though, crap fit aside - I much prefer the handling without the 2kg stock parts hanging off the ends. It's amazingly noticeable.

Naked curvy"s had normal bars which these would have fitted, so it would have depend on how they were advertised?
