We have a whole load of vacancies at MCC at the moment. You don't even have to like cricket to work at Lord's for some of them.

The good bits - well the pay is alright, we normally get a Christmas bonus, we get some free tickets, there's a gym on site and squash courts and real tennis which are free for staff to use, and a subsidised canteen. And secure parking for car or bike.

The bad bits are that sometimes we have to work evenings and weekends and every so often you have to be polite to Kevin Pietersen.

So if you fancy working here then visit the website - or pass the links on to friends who might be interested.

So are they expanding or is there a particular reason there are so many vacancies all at once?

Wake us up when they have IT / Software development vacancies since that is what most of us seem to do around here :)

We have had a few people leave, we've expanded a fair bit recently too. The Pastry chef is leaving to set up his own shop. The Head Steward is returning to Australia. The design assistant returned to Spain. And I'm currently covering part of the Tours Manager role so we really need to fill that post as I can't do 1 1/2 jobs forever as I'm a bit....

Some nice jobs there.
Very good of you to post them here.

I should apply. Get out of the US.

I always think that even if they aren't suitable for members of the org they may well have friends or relations that might be interested. It's not the worst place to work, a nice big green space just outside central London. Although I do a 4 hour round trip to get to work each day.

I quite fancy a career change. However, as I'm sure LPH knows the chances of every visitor knowing more about cricket than me would be pretty high on this one!
