Ring of Red M25...anyone interested?

9th November, leave Norwich around 9:30am to get to Birchanger Green Services (M11/M25) for 11am...buy a red t-shirt, get some scoff, have a chin wag then start moving at 1pm clockwise for about an hour then get back to Norwich before it's dark (hopefully)

A fellow Rocket rider who's an ex-serviceman suggested it...I'll more than likely go but figured it'd be good to see if others want to join in, for a good cause and all that!!

Clacketts lane, I'll be at the service first then shoot straight down at 12, bit late (by their timetable supposed to be there 11.45), but you just join where you can.

Did this last year. Will do it again this year. Red bike, red gear....And i'm 10 mins from the M25 anyway. Looking forward to it.

Good stuff Rich, we'll need to look at meeting places unless we just meet at meeting point 9? I need to check with the other rider Jimmy if he'd be up for going via the A140/A14/A12/A120 instead of the A11, only another half hour on top :)

To find us, assuming you'll head to meeting point 9, I'll be on a Black with Red Stripe Roadster (see avatar) and the other guy is on a black and white touring version

I'll probably do meet point 1, but prior to that be at the oakdene cafe for breakfast at Wrotham. Good place to start, and not too far from the M25. Unless anyone else can suggest anywhere better?

Likely meet in Norwich at either mine or Jim's place, both east side of the city I'm afraid...if you don't fancy that we could somewhere enroute...somewhere near Diss if we're going via Ipswich maybe, if it's the A11 straight there then near Attleborough? I'm not sure....it might be much easier if you could head into Norwich first though, a nice cuppa would be at the other end :) Where not planning on leaving until 9-9:30 which wouldn't mean leaving at a silly time...totally up to you

Depends for me and Jimmy, we'll go the A11 route if no-one is going from Ipswich way....I'll let you know!

Going that way now, pick a time and meeting point near Thetford way that suits you and the A11, just bear in mind we need to make meeting point 9 on the M25 for 11am

Hope the weather is good, the long range forecast didn't look too bad.

So long as it isn't like Monday & yesterdays biblical downpours it be alright.

Just watch out at Thurrock, as the lemmings are going Christmas shopping on Sundays, so the approach on the M25 get congested, even on a Sunday!
