Was over at Leeds yesterday afternoon, coming back home on the outer ring road in the dark. Slowing down for red traffic lights when I saw a car coming from the left at a junction just before the lights. He started to slow down but I had funny feeling about him! Gets to road end then pulls out right across my path. Hit brakes and thought bike was going down, back end sliding. Let brakes off and managed to miss him. Too shook up to chase after him, looked like he was on a mobile phone! Think all my years of experience saved me otherwise it would have been the 2nd time in Leeds that I would have run into the side of a car. The last time wrote a GT750 Suzuki off.

Glad you're okay and managed to avoid going down, wish these buggers would think of others and get a hand free kit as they cost pence grr. Maybe the driver thought he would pull out because you were stopping at nearby red light anyway, again grrr.
