This has been discussed before on here but can't be bothered to search beyond battery which throws up loads.

I've got a few battery tools which I use every day, the main one I want to sort out is a 18v Mikita drill battery.

I bought it about two years ago with two 1.3ah batteries, the one battery is fine, I can't understand how one can be perfectly fine and the other doesn't hold much charge when they have been used equally the same.

Anyway, a new battery is £35, I'd rather try the new cell method but need some guidance, where to buy from etc, can I improve them from 1.3ah?

I think it was Gav who did this before

Any help appreciated.

Speak to one of your sparky mates. My mate managed to get the cells at about half the price that I could from a wholesaler that he used.

Is it a li-on pack?
