Old chap I have known all my life sold his in the 50s as he was getting married and needed to buy a house. he still moans that it was the most stupid thing he ever did. (Doesn't actually say whether it was selling the brough or getting married, just the two events are linked to a single stupid decision).

He used to turn up at my folks place riding either his missus panther or his square four. He is now in his 80s and rides a franny barnet as his daily bike and has a wing and gpz900 in the garage for the few days of summer. ( he did drop the gpz last years and had to get help to lift it, but still wont give up)
