Out of interest, what did you all do for new year?
Mine was a simple night at home with a projector and an MIB marathon (rounded out the time till midnight by finishing Looper) Nice meal of gammon, egg and chips with a posh gateau mousse kinda thing for dessert.
Simple things but enjoyable nevertheless. Hadn't seen MIB3 so wanted to refresh my memory on the others.
Surprisingly, no alcohol though. Feeling so rough with cough/cold thing that took me down a couple of days ago that I've not wanted to complicate matters :(
Had a great night though and now it's 2015. Gonna sleep in and get better. Catch ya'll later!

Me and the wife in the summer house, log burner on, couple of films on the projector (one of them being snatch lol), couple of bottles of wine and some snacks, beats going out to an expensive pub that's for sure.
Happy new year all :)

Morning, how's everyones heads this morning?
I slept so well, i didn't hear any fireworks or ships foghorns at midnight. Its traditional for any ships in port to sound their foghorns at midnight.
We were down in London to see a ballet performance. We didn't stay for New Years though. They shut Covent Garden and Leicester Square tubes as exit only so we had to walk to Holborn. Packed full in that area and they shut a load of roads.

I stayed home, watched 'The Help', went to bed at 11, , then Stu woke me up getting home at 2.30 drunk.

Trev Towers was also a place of sniffles and general feelings of "bleh" so we stayed in with a nice Rioja (only half finished!) and a simple supper. As we're in a valley and loud noises echo about dreadfully the fireworks woke us at midnight but I drifted off again soon after. Feel much better today thankfully.
HNY all.

In bed by 10.30pm. What happened last night then, was it some sort of an occasion?.....
