Gopro Hero 3 battery reduced at Argos

Not sure if this is of use to anyone but Argos have £20 off the Hero 3 Bacpac:

Be careful, the description is misleading, this fits hero 2 and hero 3 but I wouldn't buy it for the 3.

I think I know what you mean, this is the ABPACK301 so it is the older one. Glad I didn't pay full price for it. It fits the 3 ok and comes with the right doors for it. Not sure why someone was saying it didn't.

I don't think it's just that mate, the battery capacity doesn't benefit the version 3 as much as earlier models.

who needs battery's. i drilled and used a jewellers file to make an aperture in the case so the USB is a snug fit and then plug a 2A charger into it which switches on and off with the ignition via my gizmo. works a treat add to that a 32gig card and its good for 6hrs of footage (without sound).

I've got a drift cam so don't know much about the gopro stuff
