OMO: gloves for odd shaped hands

Not sure if Idle Banter is quite the right place, but if not hopefully a friendly Mod can help.

I think I might be in the market soon for some new winter gloves (thought perhaps I should get heated grips instead). However my major problem buying gloves is that I have pretty long, but thin hands. Most gloves for width I am a medium, or possibly a small, for length large to extra large.

Can anyone recommend any manufacturers to look at that are particularly slim, i.e. I can get a large without the palm feeling baggy?

I am quite similar to you but not quite as extreme, in that I have quite long fingers. I've found rst to be quite good. however, fit wise I would say to you, especially for winter gloves buy them a bit bigger. one, so that you can put on a pair of inner gloves if you want for a bit of added warmth and two so there's room for hand warmers if you fancy it.

Also found rst to be a good fit. Very comfortable but not sure how crash worthy they are. I installedheated grips though and haven't looked back. Amazon were doing oxford's sports ones for 40 quid a month Back.

The old material- inbetween thumb and fore finger against the throttle ache. I get that, my size large halverssons fit pretty well, can't fit inner gloves in though

Always found a pair of wax cotton mitts worked well over the top of gloves in winter,normally longer in the fingers,and kept the worse of the weather and cold out!!!

I have held gloves currently. size 10 (XL) which as still a little too short in the fingers. They were fine on the tiger, but on the SV after about 2-3 hours riding, the end of my thumb and big fingers start to hurt. I wear inner gloves with them in the winter, and still have space. Customer sizing only done in Germany.

RST look like they have some decent looking gloves, I'll go check some out on the weekend. The warmth isn't strictly the point at the moment, just trying to find a manufacturer to look at really.
