Hi guys,

I'm going to be driving to Scotland this weekend (specifically to Dundee for Monday afternoon).

I really wanted to come up on Friday and spend a couple of days perhaps in Stirling and a trip to Applecross (possibly staying at Fort William).

I've seen the forecast and it doesn't look great.

Should I give up on getting anywhere (other than Dundee where I need to be).

Getting over to Applecross could be a bit iffy, the road gets dodgy pretty quickly at this time of year, don't think I would try unless a) you live there b) yer a wee bit saft in the heid !

Fort William, etc should be OK. Reports don't look that bad, bit of light snow, unless you go high up. If there is snow -avoid Aviemore, etc - full of ski-ing eejits blocking the roads, nightmare.

Glutton for punishment?. You, Scotland and weather never seem to mix!

Holler if you get stuck around us. You're welcome to abandon ship at ours x

Wish if seen this as I'm only just across the bridge from Dundee
