View Full Version : Rentec rack & mega big top box (pointy)
Can't remember the size of the top box, 45L maybe?!
Rentec rack is in good shape but marginally bent on the left (when looking from the back) so could probably do with straightening but still does the job.
I'll sell both for £45. Delivery will be expensive due to size but collection from S.E London is perfectly fine, courier you can organise if you like but it can't really be one of those all day time slots as I work!
pics of it on the bike:

Also got an unopened front brake master cylinder rebuild kit - £20 delivered
And finally a Givi screen (pics to follow) for a naked SV, will fit any year with the round headlight so I've been informed. Never used, £45 delivered
All up on Ebay
F.Fabrinni screen (isn't Givi as I somehow convinced myself it was): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141561416406?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Front brake master cylinder isn't worth listing so will leave that to this thread.

I might take the front brake MC rebuld kit off your hands.
I have no idea what the condition of the front brakes are and no idea how to check(yet) but I am self teaching and was going to give my brakes a good once over. New pads, clean up etc.
Is it worth rebuilding the brakes for ****s and giggles? And Is this kit for both sides?
Anyone who tells you they're not worth rebuilding is an idiot.
Feel free to come round mine and we'll do the work in my garage, always happy to help out a fellow biker. I've done caliper rebuilds a few times so it's all good, master cylinder doesn't look like rocket science to be honest!. Here's some pics of mine when I rebuilt them

Just updated my location, I moved a few weeks back :P
So by the sounds of it yes its worth rebuilding for ****s and giggles.
I also saw a video the other day of someone cleaning the front calliper. They advised that using brake fluid was a good idea... Yeah sure its probably effective at getting rid of brake dust and probably wont harm your seals but surely there is a hidden nasty to doing this?
If the seals are toast, which they likely will be, then you'll need a full rebuild. It's really quite easy and will proof the calipers against road muck for years to come. Unless you cane it through winters in which case they'll need doing every year really.
Oh it's an sv1000 rebuild kit by the way, doubt it'll fit your 650
Rentec rack and box - sold
infills - sold
screen - sold
Standard exhausts and sv1000 brake master cylinder rebuild still available - best offer gets either/both.

Hi, do you have a rebuild kit for the front calipers? The seals on mine are well shot, seen a video on YouTube, doesn't look too complicated.
Cheers
Only the master cylinder rebuild kit matey
