I was wondering if anyone on here had any links / worked in the RFA?

I am considering it as a career opportunity and wouldn't mind some advice from someone who's been down that route.

No, its the RFA, they run the fleet of ships that supply our navy.

Johnny, i have no direct knowledge of working on rfa ships, but as our merchant fleet has a dwindeling number of people who want to work at sea, then it seems like a good opportunity?

Free travel to far away places, whilst working, but without some of the strict navy discipline, as these are civilian ships.

The navy will always need supply and support ships, although if the government does any more defence cuts, then the Rfa might be affected.

Not sure if youre going for a land based job, or onboard ship.

Just make sure you don't suffer from seasickness, there's nothing worse in my experience!
