The dates for Bike Night in Weston Super Mare have now been released. It will be nice to see some Organs in the crowds.

Wifey will be providing the music as usual and Alby will be present when possible.
I may also turn up on my precious Sylvie too. :thumleft:

Hi folks,
as many of you know Carol and I have a lovely (but vicious) pet Barnowl called Alby and she comes with us to Bike Night when it is nice weather.

If you love owls, it can be a real treat to meet and hold a pretty little bird like Alby, but it does soon get dull. :smt120
Fortunately, there is a local group we know who care for and treat unwanted or hurt owls, called Avon Owls (http://www.avonowls.co.uk/). We are hoping that they will be able to bring some of their birds down to Bike Night with us and you lovely bikers can meet some more fabulous owls.
If any of you really love Owls, they are desperate for charitable donations and you can even adopt an owl. Sadly there are some local issues here and other less scrupulous people have been making money out of falconry and bird demos, which has led to animal charities Like Avon Owls getting involved to rescue these abused birds.
Owls are very delicate and wonderful birds and require a lot of love and care to keep them healthy when in captivity, this is what gives them the long happy twenty plus years of life compared to the four or so for a wild bird.
It will be lovely to see them at Bikenight and if you have a spair couple of quid, please drop it in their bucket too.

Avon Owls also have an open day coming up very soon.

Good afternoon folks, I hope that you are all having a lovely Wednesday. Tomorrow is the first Weston Super Mare Bike Night of 2015.
I have checked the weather and although it is not hugely high temperatures, it is not forecast to rain.
So come on you lot, come on down and come and say hello to Sylvie and I. We wont be hard to spot.

Well, that is that over with for another year.
The total raised this year for the Royal British Legion was just over £10 000 and this was presented to their fundraising officer last night.
See you next year
