The other half is after a whole job lot of motorcycle clothing. Nothing flash or to expensive.
I was wondering what website you guys would recommend for a job lot. Boots, helmet, gloves, and textiles.
Any one know of any sales, places selling last years stock, or just a cheaper than most website?
Advice much appreciated :) thanks guys n gala
To be honest I wouldn't reccomend buying it all online, motorcycle clothing has to fit right and ladies sizes seem to be more random than men, my Mrs has a really hard time getting stuff to fit.
Not sure where you are but I'd reccomend taking her to a large store and trying to haggle a discount for a bulk buy.

Could not agree more. Last year my better half decided to come out with me so needed everything. She likes her stuff to fit just right and being 5 foot nowt & size 8 it took a bit of getting. Helmet from one shop, gloves from another etc etc. A right PITA but worth it as last year we had several 800 mile plus weekends with no moans about kit.

Yeah well she's about 5"4 and size 8 as well. I was going to go to a large bike shop near me and try it all on with her, then compare prices online. That was the idea anyway

Ride mag ran an article some while back on a shop which specialises in women's motorcycle kit. If I get a chance I'll try and find it over the next few days.

If you are comparing prices online I've seen some great deals on fcmoto.de recently
It's all shipped from Germany but that shouldn't be too much of an issue.

I'm a size 8-10 and found Held sell some very nice Kevlar jeans in size 8, 9 and 10 so you get a good fit. They aren't cheap, about £200 but unlike most Kevlar the fabric is cross woven into the denim so no lumpy patches around your knees and bum so they look like normal jeans. I've just done 2000km round Thailand in mine and get were supremely comfy. I think they are called Crackerjane. I'm wearing them in these pics... And yes I know I won't be able to fit in them if I keep having ice cream for breakfast!

Just make sure you wash Kevlar jeans cold. I accidentally put my Draggin Jeans through a 40 wash and they shrank a lot! These Held ones have survived 2 goes through a Thai laundry this week no problem. If you are planning the sort of days out where you spend time off the bike as well as on it then these are great.
I've got a pair of SMX4 Alpinestar boots. Again in the pic above. Not sure if they still make them but they are also comfortable to walk about in. Lots of bike boots aren't and some just don't seemed to be designed for women's curvier calves even if you are slim. If she's just pillion then there are more options available.
Triumph do some quite nice ladies jackets in more casual styles. Keep an eye on their factory outlet online store. The jacket I use in Thailand has armour and space for a back protector. Cost me about £30 in the sale.

Get in contact with Vision Motorcycle Training in St Albans. They are linked with No-limits Trackdays and a Womens motorcycle clothing store on site that will have what you are looking for. I was there last week and the majority of their inventory is for women.

www.raceleathers.co.uk (http://www.raceleathers.co.uk) is local to me and good (I have used them a lot). They have just announced that they are doing a sale room (older stock to clear) implying you can get jackets from about £50.
It was in store, but may be possible to give them a call and see what they have.
