Bunkle

I've now acquired a GSXR usd front end so I'm testing the water for any interest in the R6 5EB front end I'll be taking off my curvy soon.
A couple of years ago I had a curvy SV for the road, and the standard forks were poor under spirited braking/acceleration to say the least, so when I bought the track-only SV I have now with the R6 front end fitted it was an amazing transformation.
I appreciate they don't have the same bling factor as a usd set up but the blue spot calipers (same as used on the older R1's and Fazers I believe) have great stopping power especially with the EBC pads, also having the adjustability of the forks means you can have endless fun getting them set up for track and/or road use with the turn of a screwdriver!!
For the record the R6 front end was already fitted when I bought the bike, the seller said that the standard curvy SV yokes were machined out by a couple of mm to accomodate the slightly bigger 43mm R6 forks.
The price for the standard R6 fork set up is £275 or £360 for another set of R6 forks I have with Ktech 20SSK piston kits and 9.5nm springs in.
That would consist of a front wheel (without tyre), mudguard, discs, forks, yokes, clip ons and calipers with EBC pads in. I do have another R6 front wheel for £80 without tyre (or £120 with a Battlax wet on).
I'd prefer collection due to size/weight (from LU7 area) but happy to box up for a courier organised by the buyer.
Will try and post up photos soon but if anyone wants any sooner PM me an email address and I'll send a few over.
So if you want a decent set up without a gsxr part in sight then give me a shout!
Cheers,
Dave.
