So after a good while out of biking I've decided to get back into it. So yesterday I headed out to renew my kit and I'm very happy with my purchases. But one thing I've noticed is the zip that connects the jacket to the bottoms only goes from hip-to-hip. As you will see from the attached picture I've pulled my T-shirt through to show just how much isn't joined.
Is this normal for 2-piece leathers? I assume I wouldn't be allowed to use them for a track-day? Is there anything I could do or buy to make the front of the jacket and bottoms more connected?
Thanks for any replies. :)
Erm ring the shop up.
But my rst leather 2 pice and the compatible textil pretty much the same.
Maybe not quite as short looking at the big pic
What's it like on the jacket inside.

Apologies for the dodgy quality pictures but in the jacket picture you'll see 2 yellow arrows, that's where the zip starts and ends. The 2 blue arrows indicate the bit of material that the zip is sewn to and where that starts and ends.
I've also done the same for the trousers and drawn a blue line to show how much isn't connectable. If this is normal for RST leathers? If it is I might just see if I can get a longer zip sewn in because I love the leathers and I like the fitment of them I'm just a bit confused as to why they would leave the belly area so vulnerable.
Your not likely to have a big gap open. But for track days I'm not sure how well the scrutineers feel.
Bedford just took the pea out how tight my old FT ones are. But not shelling out for new one pice.
I'll look an photo my rst and woolf two pice ones tonight.

I'd say go on a diet, but failing that perhaps go to somewhere like Hideout Leather and see if they've got any good advice
Just looking at my BKS zip it's shorter than the A* Jacket zip.
Think my rst is in the Mrs car

Looking at that it ends right round at the front which is where I would've though all joining zips would have to end. I'm getting the impression RST are just at bit tight on how much zip they give the customer.
You can get a extra zip put in.
I've got 3 on my BKS.
So fits the kevlar jeans and my A* jeans.
But yes the Rst has the shortest zip (attached)
