Nice to see that a para got a VC. Tbh it doesn't sound much different to a lot of the heroics that go on in a war zone but that shouldn't take anything away from the chap but more that other actions should be recognised.
I assume he's not allowed near the front line any more?

Yep,they are super special,but anyone that goes out there deserves a medal as big as a dustbin lid,3 out of my sister in laws 4 kids joined up,2 done their time in bastion,all heroes to me but they just shrug it off!!!
