I play the cornet, bass guitar and am trying a little piano but its a long process with not much practice time.
learnt the cornet in school from 8 years old, grew to hate the lessons but looking back it was a good thing I guess.
If all falls down around me I could always go busking to earn some bread!!
Think we might have a virtual group on our hands here !!!
Guitar. Fronted a few bands too.
I've still got most of my guitar's. The amp's too.
My Fender twin is now considered a classic. As is my Tweed fender.
I don't play or gig anymore.
Oddly my son's into Clarinet and violin!!
I think it's his Grandads influence..

I used to play Clarinet in the school orchestra. Started young, I wouldn't mind picking it up again at some point. I was also pretty good on keyboards back in the mid 80's.
Keep em coming guys, looks like we might have to find a bigger virtual venue!!!

I mostly play guitars, got a variety of electric and acoustic with 4, 5, or 6 strings, but also lead and harmony vocals (not at the same time!) and occasional forays into hand percussion - bodhran, cajon, djembe and the like, even been known to slip behind a drum kit.
In the dim distant past I played cello, and taught myself sax for giggles, and played big band jazz for a while. In fact (now the nostalgia is kicking in) I was offered a pro contract while still at school to play bass in a big band jazz group, but turned it down in favour of GCSEs. I still wonder how life would have turned out had I said yes.

Started on drums, moved to bass, then ended up on guitar, which I've played in a couple of bands. Still have my guitars, but haven't managed to play more than a few times in the last two years due to loosing most the skin off my hands. Played recorder at school too!

How can tell if there's a drummer at the door?
The knocking gets faster
Mainly guitars. All acoustic. Got a regular flat top, a steel guitar and a 6 string banjo. Used to be OK but I don't play much these days so they're just gathering dust. I pick them up every now and again and get disenchanted by the fact I can't play anymore
Got a mandolin a few years back but couldn't get on with it. Also got a cheapo uke a couple of years ago and loved it. Played it a lot for a few months. Haven't touched it for a while.
Used to play keyboards when I was a kid but don't own one now. Reckon I could still remember 4 chords. :p

Electric guitar with a punky post new wave band in the early 80s before coming to Wales. Moved back to traditional music start of the 90s after learning to play diatonic accordion. Played accordion and acoustic guitar with a series of bands ever since.
Played specifically trad Welsh music for the last ten years with various outfits and now playing in a family group with my 12 year old daughters and one of their friends - button accordion and guitar, while they play flutes and fiddle and do Welsh clog. We all sing together too.
It's one of my greatest joys to be able to play music with my children, even though they are already better than me!

I play the Air Drums. We would have had an Air Band at Uni but couldn't find an Air Wailer after numerous auditions.
And I understand that Strechie plays the Pink Oboe.

I play guitar. Just an acoustic now.
Played in numerous rock bands in the 70's and 80's.
Also played in a couple of country bands in the 80's and 90's.
Don't play that much any more.
Wish I had kept my Les Paul. :(

Guitar also here.
Left handed - 6 guitars, mix of acoustic and electric.
Mainly for fun when i get bored.
Bottleneck blues guitar, I have a steel bodied single cone resonator and a brass bodied tricone, also several wood bodied conventional ones, all acoustic. Trying a mandolin at the moment but I think my fingers may be too fat for the tiny frets.
