Yes mate, I'm there, same group.

Shakedown the bike after winter and train myself for the Sprint round on March 22nd.
(Basically go as fast as possible on the out lap!)

Will also have the GyroCamera rev 3 to test, gonna be a busy day!

Nice one Michael,
look forward to meeting you. White SV no fairing little red van. I've just promoted myself to inters so go easy! Look forwarded to featuring in the Gyrocam rev3 footage.

Yeah cool, I'll be in a Focus estate, might have the two SVs if I feel like bringing the 1000.

(Judging by the video, we might be pretty evenly paced!)

See you there.

Well I've done about 10 trackdays so far in my life and last saturday was the best one yet!

The combination of good weather, fantastic fun on track and meeting new faces was great.

Should have some good video to share soon enough from myself and Lawman.

Tips are the usual, take time to learn it, it has a habit of catching you out at times.
BUT don't listen to the doomsdayers who say Cadwell is more dangerous than others, it's not.
I've met people who have read about Cadwell before visiting and were cr$pping themselves so much it robbed them of the awesomeness that it is!

You'll love it!

First ever trackday was at Cadwell last year - awesome track. Hope to get back there again, on my own bike (Borrowed an R1 for the day !!!) but it is just such a hike from here.

Favourite bits were form the bottom of the gooseneck to the hairpin at the end of Clarke's. Everyone was bricking it going up the mountain !!! Nearly every lap, I passed someone going up, was great fun - Front wheel hovering all of 2" off the track !!! LoL

I wouldn't say it was the best track for a 1st timer, but nothing to be scared of, even tho' I had a couple of hairy moments on the day.

Yes, it was a great day, we got the weather and wall to wall sun in the afternoon. Plenty of video (first time ive seen myself riding track) and lots of room to improve. Ive only just moved to inters but feel I was going OK. The SV's ran great.
Tips for Cadwell? There is no power or garages so if you want power, take a genny Other than that watch a few videos and go as fast as you dare!
Enjoy, hopefully I'll do another day in April. Video to follow.
