I This a transition lens visor thing.
Lumino visor (photochromic)
Can't get the video to work (android).
If it is my lazer pure glass has one and yes it's pretty dam good.

Yes it is made by the same people who make Transition eyeglasses, automaticly darkens and lightens.
First I've seen of it's kind. I would love to have one!

You can get visor inserts that do the same thing.

AGV have just announced an electrochromic visor which is quicker and darker. The AGVisor I believe, been reviewed by RevZilla.

Wouldn't mind a transition one for my NXR but don't think the change in tint will be quick enough or work well enough here.

I always had problems with my specs

Mines as quick as a normal pair of glasses.
I believe lazer flip front used it to save the weight of the internal dark visor mechanism.

Fair enough, tech may have come along since I had mine a few years ago.

I just never found my glasses to be responsive enough.

I also found after a couple.of years of using them my eyes became very sensitive to sunlight as even when it wasn't sunny they had a slight tint. First my optician had heard of it so I might just be weird

The only disadvantage is you can't tell if you have the mean mad max look at the lights to do the black visor stare.

" Full activation in 2 minutes" doesn't sound very good if going through a series of short tunnels.
You'd end up with dark in the tunnels and light in the blinding sun?

The Monaco tint changes fairly quickly, I had no problem tackling the Dartford Tunne

VisorDown posted an article recently on the AGV visor Pyro mentioned (http://www.visordown.com/product-features/agvs-new-visor-will-go-from-black-to-clear-at-the-push-of-a-button/26371.html), an interesting comment thread on Reddit (http://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/2y5l3a/agvs_new_visor_will_go_from_black_to_clear_at_the/).

You'd have to charge the AGV every 2-3 days, something that doesn't bother me as I charge a camera and intercom each afternoon, but it seems to bother a lot of people. Also a reference to this e-Tint AX-10 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHv0jeqTwpc&feature=youtu.be), which apparently gets absolutely shocking reviews.

Biggest issue for me with my GT Air is that I've not been able to use the internal visor for the past 4-5 months due to the fog, I can't wipe the fog down like I would a visor without a Pinlock insert.

I have the Pinlock photochromic insert and it's excellent. It's not instant and a pop-down visor would be better in some cases but extra weight is the trade off.

I had a photochromic visor.
It din't work at all well. Then I read the visor had a anti Uv coating.
Doh!

it looks like it goes too dark to be legal on UK roads?!

Not sure if anyone would worry about it if it goes clear in low light conditions.

It's all a personal thing, but I find I like to drop the sunvisor on my Shoei down just far enough to be a shade for the sun/sky when it's really bright (usually holidays in Europe rather than in UK), but still look through the clear visor at the road.

You often get tunnels in Europe with little or no lighting and the only answer is to lift the tinted visor, even then it's often difficult to acclimatise quickly if it's very bright sunlight outside. Those are the sort of tunnels where you can't tell whether the headlight is on or off, scary at times.

Nice to see it available though.

I use anti fog by rain x on my internal sun visor. Prevents any condensation on it, I also use it on my car windows.

I use Tesco washing up liquid on the Sharks internal visor.
ps
in the coldish air yesterday my Laze took 3 mins to go from black to clear indoors!!
