Not in my experience, BUT low oil has very serious consequences.

I love it, it does nothing exceptional but does everything well. Not been on it since my better half decided to come on the back and we got a bike suitable for two.

Looks very nice Scott.
Re a slip on, I'd spend the money on petrol, but they do sound nice.

Scoots, where in Lancashire are you. Please do not say Preston, otherwise you will have an over sized Irishman at your door demanding lager. (No not me)

Down the rd too, Clayton-le-Woods. Serious though. Watch out for the full strength Irish out of Preston. You will have an empty beer fridge if he finds out where you are. I know only too well!

I got a Beowulf Stubby slip on.

Looks nice but not show to offy. Has a removable baffle and sounds great. It's not very expensive either. Got mine at MCN weekend for £110 but I think they retail at around 130-140.

Take a look on ebay might get a descent 2nd hand one for £70-80 if that.

If I remember correctly it comes with a life time guarantee.
