Hi all,
I'm looking to get the SV's frame and engine painted (or powder coated) black, can anyone recommend me a place where I can ride in/ride out as in they dismantle and rebuild as I don't have the facilities to do it myself!
I've tried dream machine and a few local places but they won't dismantle it that far.
Thanks all :-)

That's not going to be cheap.
To do it properly you need to take everything apart. That's for both the engine and the frame, and an engine rebuild is not quick or cheap. To strip an engine and rebuild it you're looking at c.£150 in gaskets alone but the biggest part is the labour charges let alone the paint or powder. Have you considered what it will cost? Off the top of my head I'd be thinking around £1000.
I don't know of any places that would offer this as an advertised service, a local independent might do the stripping and rebuilding leaving you to arrange the paint. But I wouldn't be surprised if they would need some sort of payment upfront and guarantee that it will be completed as a dismantled bike takes up a lot more space then a complete machine.
Thinking about it Rolling Art Motorcycles (http://www.rollingartmotorcycles.com/) would probably do it. They do custom builds so are not afraid to take on a full job like this, plus they are great guys and helped me out with my TZR.

That's a great recommendation thanks.. They look just the ticket and they're local!.. I had a budget of 2k to get it all done including a full paint job so it sounds achievable. I'll give them a ring and arrange to go see them.. Fingers crossed! :-)
