Hey guys, I've been trying to find the sprocket ratios for the VS650S, but I can't seem to find any kind of graphs or data sheets explaining.
Right now i have really good low end torque and acceleration, but absolute **** high end.
He said he had a big one replaced cause of some reason or another...
Whats the best ratio for maximum acceleration but with good top end too?\

How do you ride your bike and where?
There is no perfect set up, only perfect for your riding and the environment in which you ride. You will sacrifice acceleration for top end & vice-a-versa.
Having good acceleration, whether it be from a standing start or roll on throttle is a much more advantageous trade off vs trying to get a top end which you will rarely achieve.

What is most important to me is drag racing at stop lights admitedly.. but I also wanna be able to get on it on the highway if I need to without the engine feeling like "wahhh its too hard!!! WAHHH!"

I currently have 48 sprocket on the back!!!!

a 48 rear sprocket will lead to better acceleration and lower top end. Only 8mp down or so on a 45 tooth sprocket
