Mot valid until 23/06/2015 no advisories, and ive only done 200 ish miles since the last mot. So it will go straight through come next. I took it out for a spin this week to make sure it was all still ok, didnt skip a beat. I also genuine ride very slow, like a chopper rider, lorries overtake me on the motorway that's how easy this bike has had it.

Only selling due to passing car test, I never wanted a bike, it was just cheaper to insure.

Ive fixed all the common issues with these, the stantions, the rectifier, rev counter, extended front mudguard, no tank rust (it is kept indoors afterall). choke cables

All maintenance carried out by myself because i like things done by the book. Regular oil and coolant changes, this bike doesn't use a drop of oil it NEVER needs toping up. Since owning it its had, New pads, new fork seals, new chain, new brake fluid, new tyres, brakes all overhauled, new battery. Loads left on tyres avon storm rear, dunlop front. Its never let me down once, and never fails to start.

Modifications

fork protectors
renthals bars
radiator guard
rectifier from a cbr
tail tidy
pyramid rear guard
indicators
scott oiler
iridium plugs
corbin seat (this was taken from a custom chopper, and needs to be secured down, I never got round to doing it, could prob use cable ties if you can get the side pieces off, have ridden it 5 years with it unsecured)
mini indicators
disabled clutch switch (they are too temperamental)
disabled parking light (Too easy to accidentaly leave on)

Values clearances have been checked/done twice in my ownership, once at 21k then 32k. Timing chain and tensioners were in good condition.

Bad bits

The only reason not to buy this bike is body condition, if you want a perfect example that looks like new look this bike isn't for you, all panels are straight, but there are scuffs here and there from me placing it againt wall etc. These could easily be colour matched or vinyl stickers used to cover it. Its still a tidy looking bike, everyone says how nice it looks, its by no means a shed, but its not winning any awards either. . As well as the scuffs, it once went down slowly on its side and badly scratched the left of the tank, damage was localised to roughly a square inch, i filled and used colour match paint, then applied the tank protectors. its a half decent job no one notices when casually looking. see the photos. It could do with being done again though this time with 2pack laquer, overspray has made it less shiney. The grab rails have also wore paint away , but you cant see it with them on. Finally the rear under frame thing could do with a paint.
Front rim could do with a paint.

You need to come check it out yourself really, you can never get a good feel of the condition of something until you actually see it. Thats why I would really prefer a local buyer.

Things i recommend the new user do are as follows:

The pilot screws may need adjusting a smidge, i have the tool, you can have it free, also it might be time for a carb balance, only due to the fact i havent done this for 2 years, then again ive hardly rode it either.
I repaired both brake and gear levers myself, they work perfectly, but you may want to buy genuine ones.
Oem mirrors are on, bit scuffed but i like them, most switch for something a bit fancier,
Exhaust is standard, but nice and shiney, i like a nice quiet ride.
Chain isnt rivetted, i mention this as i know some people dont like the clip on links, ive never had an issue which them on any of my bikes.
Time for oil change soon
Fit bar ends
Standard indicators are currently on the back, in the photos i took none are fitted as i tried to fit the minis (included with bike), but they arent long enough. So you will have to figure out a way to mount them.

I made custom infils so i could take the grab rail off, ones disappeared, it was made with p38 and 2 nuts, they are easy to make, the grab rails does come included and is now fitted.

Test rides only if your details and something of equal value is left behind. Or preferably ill take you for a quick spin on the back

V5 present, 2 keys. Will make up receipt if required. post office for taxing is 100 metres up the road or you can use my PC.

I will not haggle on price at all in person, i never have never will, more than happy for you to change your mind on purchasing, never feel pressed into buying anything unless you are happy, but ive been 100% honest and i will not budge from agreed price under any circumstances.

Now the legal bit. Its a used vehicle, Sold as seen, no warranty, no refunds etc etc.
Payment in cash, too many instances of people using charge backs for cards/paypal. All notes will be checked, all notes must be current valid legal tender. Any expired 20s or 50s will be rejected. More info about that can be found online. Sorry to sound pedantic but over the years ive seen it all. If you withdraw cash directly from the bank there should be no issue.

Contact me with any questions. Thanks.

Hi there, just out of interest did you need to get new cables at all to put the renthal bars on? I've got a set I want to put on my naked sv but the cables and brake hose don't look like they'll be long enough thanks
