With great regret I am selling my SV650s. I have had it for 2 years now but due to needing a car for work I have to let it go. The bike is in overall good condition, with just a few age related marks. The bike runs beautifully, starts first time everytime. Has a great, loud sound due to the aftermarket exaust. Runs with no smoking, knocking sounds etc.
The Good points:
Fresh MOT - due march 2016.
2 brand new tyres.
Just had a complete back brake overhaul including fresh fluid and new pads.
Nice blue "Carbon Can Co" exaust.
Fitted Fender-extender.
Had Regulator/Rectifier replaced 18 months ago (a common issue with these SVs)
Also had battery replaced 18 months ago.
Low miles for age.
The Bad points: (every vehicle has them)
I dropped the bike (dropped not slid down the road) pulling it out of my garden. Because of my mistake, there's a small crack in the righthand fairing under the indicator. Some of the paint has come away here too. The drop also snapped the end off of the front brake lever. It can still be operated fully - and even got through the MOT.
There's also a small dent in the tank close to the seat. This was not actually done on this bike - The previous owner had replaced the tank because of internal rusting and took it from a crashed bike. (you can see this from the slightly different shades of yellow)
This really is a great bike, ready for the coming summer.
