Oil Filter..

Hi folks,

Can someone tell me if there is a difference from the oil filter on a sv650 2007 faired and unfaired model?

I have a SV650S Fully Faired.

Was looking on *bay and noticed vendors selling oil/filter packages for Unfaired which arose the question on the oil filter size?

Nope, no difference. 1651007J00 for a genuine filter, HF138 for hiflo , KN138 for K&N

Thanks Tomor, I didnt think their was! Guess it mass *bay vendors selling products with only what they know!

The KN138 K&N looks good due to the welded nut on the bottom, must mind and not overtighten it though, as those things should only be hand tight to some degree.

Got one of the K&N ones on my K8 as it makes it so much easier to remove.
