I picked my Thou up on Saturday - smiles. But further to that my curvy has to go to pay for it. A much loved bike, she's done me very well.

Oil and filter, air filter, new rectifier and new road pilot in last 200 miles. LED front and rear with proper resistor fitted. Brake lights built in to rears. White LED plate light. 225mm Delkevic.

Faultless mechanically as you'd expect for one on such low miles. Small scuff on RHS fairing and a few marks on the seat cowl. Looking for £1500.

Please ask if you need anymore info, bike is in storage now - Wickford, Essex.
Can email vid taken today if required.

Hi Goose71,

I asume your picking up a SV1000? Sorry I have a SV650 so not interested in your sale but I am interested in your views on the difference between the 650 and 1000. Sorry if this is the wrong post too ask you but if you can after having your 1000 a week or so I would appreciate your views.

I hope this is ok as I am looking at my next bike to be a SV1000.

Thanks in advance, Steph.

Hi Steph, no problem at all. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. It's a superb machine. I got on it and felt at home straight away. Not like when I test rode a GSXR750 before it. It's a great combination of comfort and power. And the sound with the race cans on is awesome. I'd have no hesitation in recommending the thou as an upgrade after a 650. Do it, you won't regret it.

Hi, thanks for that!

What a great looking bike, you have been lucky to grab that one, fully faired, lovely blue and clip on bars etc, there is not so many of those going about in that condition :-) Good luck with the 650 sale and keep me posted..

Cheers, Steph.

Hi Goose71,

I notice your 650 has those small stick out indicators and your new 1000 has those after market "fixed" versions, what do you prefer? What is the better option in your view?

I have a tail tydy etc on my 650 but if I was keeping it I would like to change the stcock indicators.

Thanks for your views.

Cheers, Steph.
