His a very naughty man!
"Police have released footage of Paul Roberts, 43, reaching more than double the speed limit on his Kawasaki ZZR1400 on the M11 in Essex. The footage also shows Roberts filtering and undertaking at over 100mph".

Speeding Plus dangerous filtering so much that the following police did the same !!... Hum.
My point if it was dangerous then why did the police do the same ?..
Any way should have kept an eye out.....

Pretty much my reaction when I watched the video. It always disappoints me when they appear to base "dangerous" purely on the speed involved without explaining the circumstances that made it so. Still, having been on the other side of the fence so to speak I'm also well aware that a lot of the important detail goes clean over the medias head.

Lots of outside lane hugging going on

That seams to be an accepted practice on dual carriage ways now.

Actually there is a little tip there for the rest of us, beware of on ramps. They are a favourite waiting place for a little hunting so if you are going to make good use of a quiet piece of dual carriageway have a good look in your nearside mirror as you pass them (which hopefully you are doing anyhow to check for joining traffic). Coppers can bounce unsuspecting speed merchants from there even in a marked car, less alone an unmarked bike. Oh, and if you do see a nice big bike stopped on the ramp they probably haven't broken down......especially when they pull out behind you!

Exactly & agree with the other comments

If you're not observant enough to check for possible police presence when speeding, then perhaps you shouldn't be doing that speed.

Nearly 150mph on a public road. Stopping distance at that speed is 1275ft. Not really much room for error there, is there?

I can understand why he wasn't checking behind him. It's kinda irrelevant at that speed.

If you had a solo busa' up ya chuff, he's got another 50 mph on you.
You still need to check the mirrors

If only you lot knew how easy and stable that bike is at 150 mph. That speed is gained at a blink of an eye, and can feel like 60, even with a pillion .

Not that I condone it on a full motorway.
What do most people do when they're hunted? Speed up before slowing down. Video went for seven minutes. Seven minute chase. Even if they aren't allowed to chase, still did it. What does that say about the pursuing vehicle?

With clear video evidence is there any point in chasing.
Like you say he probably took bigger risks with the later "filtering ".
The first squirt was the usual.
Look at theses tozzers in the overtake lanes.

Some of you might be wondering why the copper was wasn't just as dangerous while making the same decisions to perform the exact same overtakes-on-the-left and filtering, at even higher speeds.

It's because police riders have precognition, and a personal reality distortion field, and are wizards.

There's your answer Tony ;)

Isn't the speed indicated, what the pursuing vehicle is doing? So, if parked up, was the Zzr actually speeding as much as stated?

Devil's advocate....

Magical wizards indeed
Years ago,Pegasussus got pulled, just as he was making progress up the slip road into the motorway. Whilst sat there, every other vehicle was making progress in the same manner.
Good riding sir, I've followed you for quite some miles, you hadn't put a foot wrong, where have you been Where are you heading, is it your vehicle?
I'm on my way home, I've not been here before, it's my day off work, I fancied some sight seeing. Yes it is my vehicle, it's not stolen, here is my license(look at my Rukka gear, if it was stolen would they ride in Rukka in his head ).

Oh, ok sir, well, we thought it was stolen, and had to stop you before you got on the motorway or we wouldn't have caught you. We'd have had to get help!
Well, you've not done anything wrong, apart from owning a bike that you don't see often in Liverpool..... Here's an sp30 because you made progress 200 yds from the speed change.... Have a nice day, I need to get this egg removed from my face some how....

I would imagine a professional motorcycle thief could wear Rukka if he wanted.

Well aye I'm sure they can , but most professional jobs chuck em in a van, and don't bother riding them anymore. Unless of course they're the the sort that do it off the cuff and do it in a hoody and trainers....Which Still happens on a rare occasion around here.

Anyway, the point was...magical wizards... I liked that :-D
