R6 Cutting out electrical issue

Hi,

i'm Back on a bike, ended up getting a 2002 R6 as it was a decent price.

I've come across and issue with it. last week on a run the bike cut out on a bend, it was dead, so i think it's electrical. AA arived and we checked the charge,bad earth etc and the battery. the batery was goosed so i got a new one.

last night I was out again and noticed the Speedo die, then the Revcounter then the engine started to go, i was not in a safe place to stop so i turned the key one step and back on again, bumped the engine and the bike burst into life and was fine all the way back home.

i suspect this could be a poor connection to the ignition switch or a loose connection on another component.

just looking to see if anyone has come across and issue similar to this and what the result was ?

I had a corroded fuse blade do the cut-out and die when I was using the zx6r .
It now has a separate fused supply via a fuse holder
