They leave at 8 am from the Ace.

Who lost their eye ?.
Officially its called the MayDay run and has been in existence since the late 50's. The actual run has taken place from Locksbottom in Kent to Hastings for most of those years. It takes place on the first Bank Holiday Monday in May every year. Its been reported that Hastings can welcome up to 20000 bikes!

Its been a few years since i have done it.

Only been to Battle for the re enactment of the Battle of Hastings.
Now that's also quite an event.
