Looks good what's the comfort like, compared to the stock one?

Well it really depends on how comfy you are with the standard seat, because this one is better with its gel pads inside, but it wasn't comfy enough for me,hence the tony archer version. :)

Hi,sadly ive traded the gladius in with the bagster seat on,it was the most uncomfortable bike ive ever owned, shame really, but I still have the Tony Archer seat, cheers,Graham.

Flip sorry to hear that although tbh, I'm just back after 5 days touring with my son. He was on his 125 so things were pedestrian, although around Donegal, 40mph is nearly fast enough! Anyway, I was getting tingles in my left wrist after about 20 mins, and even with my modified seat, 45-60mins and things were getting v uncomfortable. How did the Tony Archer seat compare? I'm guessing it didn't do much better. I'm actually thinking of thinking about a v strom 650 or Tiger 800. What did you change to in the end?

yes it was a great shame really because the bike itself has a cracking engine, good brakes abs, super handling, but let down by budget suspension and an unadjustable riding position which loads all the pressure points in your buttocks and unfortunately the tony archer seat was better but not a cure. You should be fine with a v strom or tiger 800 but have a good long run on both before deciding.Ive got a 2004 Yamaha fazer fzs1000 with 4500 miles and like new,and my bum is shouting thank god!

Hi,are you in northern Ireland or southern because it is very expensive to send to southern Ireland,£66.00,or £26.00 to northern,so I would want £110. to send to the latter, many thanks,Graham.

Hi Graham,
Thanks, I'm in NI. Am in the middle of negotiations on a 2012 v strom. Unfortunately I'm trying to deal with a car dealer and he hasn't a flipping clue, the boss needs to decide whether or not to take a punt on my bike! The bike is too good to miss so I'm going to try and get the deal over the line. If it doesn't happen, I'll come back to you about the seat.

ok,no problem, the v strom will be more comfortable.
